I ordered about 7 books. Three of the books came with torn/missing pages.

Example below. I want to return the books for my refund.

I hate the bendy synthetic cover to the book Mary Oliver would hate it too I think as a Nature lover like myself..I love Books and poetry but I love cloth or stiff board covers as have been used for aeons since invented before that vellum was used animal skins and before that carving or writing on stone or wood. Plastic is ruining the natural world especially the oceans . Maybe WOB can enlighten me as to what was used to make this awful book cover?

Can I get a full refund for a laboratory investigation book? It was in good condition when I got the delivery.

looked at the books is just awful for paying for very good copies. you would expect a decent copy, not at all.

one had food particles all over the corner on every page bent. The other book looked like it had been bent in several places.

I asked for a refund, they said they would send new books out in better condition. well, only one has turned up and is worse than the first one.

Send the items paid for and advertise the correct contact number . I emailed and it kept theres a problem try 24 hours later

I ordered a textbook for my marketing class on August 24th and today we are September 16th No feedback about my order since then, impossible to contact the customer service and I have no idea where is the book I ordered. A huge lack of communication which is very disappointing.

I have purchased several books and CDs from this company. Fast service.

Good products. But trying to contact them and talk to them has, on this, my first attempt, been a poor experience.

No telephone service available and when I got an email reply it was as if the sender hadn't actually read my email.

On service and products I rate World of Books 10/10. But based on my recent experience with customer service, I would give them just one star in this department.

I needed to change my delivery address but am so frustrated trying to find out how to do it that I just want to cancel my order, please.

This is a charity organisation the specialize in buying and selling used books, music & cds etc to save them from being dumped or sent to landfill. I have bought many cds from them without problem.

On this occasion part of my order was not able to be delivered as it was damaged in storage. I had a problem communicating by phone and email to discuss a replacement.

This matter is now resolved and my replacement is already on its way.

Please stop using DPD for collections, as I have lost 2 days of my life waiting for them to pick up, only to be told by the driver lies that there was nothing to collect. I am going to offer to take my wife's books to Oxfam, no mean feat for this elderly pensioner, instead of wasting any more time with DPD.

make yourselves more readily contactable! I had to dig up an ancient e mail to find a contact person.

I love the book by Mary Oliver but it has horrible synthetic cover plastic bendy wont blue flat as a book should unless open As a nature lover she would have hated it as do I . I know trees must be used for most books or cotton and vellum and there is more reluctance to use them due to conservation and environmental reasons but books have been crucial for education and enlightenment in civilisation the trees are continuing to exist as books and covers and furniture for mankind for aeons..
